I didn't see a CRL listed for this, but I need a Disney bounding costume that won't be super problematic. I've gathered some reference and am gonna focus down to get at least a v1 of the jacket done before May 9th. I don't know how intense I'll go as far as trying to get a CRL ready version goes, but it looks like there is enough reference.
As far as pieces go, it looks like we've got:
- Jacket. Per the LFL asset notes, it appears this is supposed to be a jacket.
- Iron Heart Clasp
- Collar
- Shoulder bits
- Forewarm decor. 1 thinner layer o green, followed by a cuff of navy?
- Mystery belt. This is where I have some immediate questions. How is it advised to handling seemingly impossible items like this. It's by all appearances 1 piece. The asset turn around art has the jacket bit which implies it would seperate in the front, but it's not visually apparent in the episode or other art.
-- Tassets with a raised iron heart motive
- Pants. No Zipper here. Slightly baggy.
- Boots with boot armor
- Strawberry Blonde wig

So far I went ahead and mocked up a basic test in duct tape, we'll see if I use that, but gonna do the iron heart clasp next, and try and get to Joann this weekend to play around with fabrics. I wanted to start this thread to get an idea of peoples thoughts on how to translate TCW materials/fabric types into real life, and how things like the green belt/foreearm cover should be handled.
