Now I'mma start working on some upgrade stuff to distract myself from being anxious about this. Some may make it onto this kit, others may get used on future kits.

• finish my Westar carbine and the Monstrosity
• bandoliers for both
• knives. just so, so many knives to throw and stab things with, and sheathes for them
• finish Holdout blasters - fix up the recharge butt plates and add space grime
• build holsters for holdouts and some recharge holders 
• explosives, enough to blow up a lot of things.
• maybe a ridiculous pry bar
• jump boots
• jetpack and harness because Mandalorian.

Thanks vode - I know it's only been like 50 hours but I am absolutley vibrating with anticipation. Gonna go make 10,000 accessories and maybe even do my actual job to distract myself.

Fix list received - no big surprise that I need MOAR WEATHERING.


Fix List:
-Flightsuit, girth belt, ammo belt, and strapping on the costume appear to be under weathered and could use some additional weathering to be consistent.
-The holes in the backplate need some sort of backing since you are not currently applying with a JP. If you intend to add a JP later, simply back them with an approvable material that is easy to take off for when you have a JP completed.

Suggestions:
-Take extra care when dressing to ensure that your backplate is as close to your body as possible (it looks like it is floating at the bottom but that could just be your stance) and that your flak vest doesn't overlap your girth belt in the back (perhaps tuck it a bit).

All told, not bad. I'm in the process of making my upgrades, should have new pics within a week.

2. Customized Bullpup Westar Carbine variant in progress; needs a sling
3. Westar-inspired snub pistols, made and in need of holsters

4. Combat knife (tried to make it look like a sharpened block of Durasteel)
5. pair throwing knives
6. blaster reloads - "universal" for all my Westar inspired blasters. 8 finished, need at least 2 more because of reasons

So lots of stuff going on at Casa de Second Son. I've gotten a new assignment at work that'll have me travelling regularly so updates will be sporadic - but I'm looking to run a marathon here and enjoy the process along the way.

Sharpened Block O’ Durasteel (^tm) looks pretty sweet, very characterful for an original Mando. I keep returning to the idea of jet boots myself. That framework for them is fantastic! Did I miss what it’s made of/from? Sure looks like metal to me.
