Hey all, here's my "normal" WIP for an eventual arctic sniper dual brigade kit.
I will do a "normal" approval with the bare minimum for approval, then finish it with the brigade add-ons.
Here are some of my inspirations:
It is all based on the Mynock's Den helmet. I painted the armor to match this style:
I have done several winter 501st and RL kits, including the Snow Scout:

When I was in the Mountain Garrison /Cerar Clan region, we had some pretty epic winter kits:

I formed a holster for the pistol:
Adding reflective tape to items. It really adds an amazing amount of pop to the kit:
Ice axe/fighting axe -- aluminum bar with all sintra head:
Nose art style Wampa on shoulder bell. This arm will have a flamethrower. I was debating having the Wampa in flames, but I like it as-is.
I am extremely close to getting all hard goods finished.
Vest using a FB group tutorial - partway done:
And I decided to add some love to Dave Filoni to the helmet. Still rough and needs cleanup:
I'll add other grey accents to the other armor parts to carry on the motif.
Still need to attach the vest straps, and add an extension to the cummerbund/diaper.
All weathering will happen in one fell swoop at the end. I like to do it as one, so it has a common flow and feel.

I still need to do the following:
- add fur to the tops of the boots and ends of the gauntlets
- create the fur cape
- create the kama
- modify my old biker scout cummerbund/diaper that we have on hand as my cod/armored cod plate
- finish my macrobinoculars
But it's progress, and I'm happy to have finally gotten the floating plates fixed. That was killing me and stopping all progress. I have received a thumbs up on those from my local Russalores.

7/22/2021 Update:
I did my first test fitting of the softgoods. Also added fur, and the wife sewed the straps for the vest.
The biker scout (snow scout) cummerbund is still under construction. Still needs the g-string strap, and to be connected around the back.
I am very interested to see if it will work for Brigades, or if I will needs to add armor plating to it since they are pretty particular about that.

I also have 2 large, and 1 small scout-style pouches. I am considering adding them (somewhere) to help hold extra brigade-level gear.
