Westar-35 Color
« on: Aug 08, 2021, 08:40 PM »
I have a set of realistic Westar-35 pistols and are currently painting them. A few people have have them different colors but I like having them as a solid dark grey. Are allowed to have them as one solid color and would they get approved that way?

Certainly. No CRL requirement governs the blaster color. You can always check with your local clan Ruus'alore for more immediate feed back.
Sabine had painted hers very creatively and I know there are a wealth of others that are very creatively colored/built.
You are welcome to try and stick to screen accurate or go your own direction if you want to theme/color coordinate it to match your kit.

I'm painting mine to be silver, but, as a matching set, I'm painting one with Green Accents, and the other with gold accents (my kit is Green and Gold)

Other than some detailing, my blaster is completely unpainted plastic, which is perfectly plausible for the Westar 35, since, canonically, it’s entire shell is polycarbonate.
