Got a skate helmet that fits and plan to use a 5gal bucket to start on my helmet finally. 



Got the templates drawn out and will hopefully get to cutting it all out soon.

Awesome!  My scratch build helmet is still one of my favorite pieces of my kit because I spent so much time on it. 

Have you seen The Bearded Mando's tutorials?  They are excellent and can help you from making some mistakes that I made when I did mine.

Be careful making the helmet too tall, it gets awfully hard to look down when your chin starts bumping into your chest plates.

Yeah, I realized after cutting out the opening for the visor that it was a bit too tall.
I need to add another layer so I plan to trim it down once I get that layer set.

Also make sure that your T isn't going to be taller than whatever visor you get for it. if it's more than the height of a grinding visor it's going to be very hard to find something that will work.
