I concur with Tramp,
If you add in that second knee piece it ends up crowding the plates on either side of it. If you’re wanting additional coverage on your knee you can experiment with adding more to the knee. Baco when I was a young foundling I hand carved mythosaur skulls to attach to the top of my knee plates.
