so ive got my soft parts mostly done, but i can't figure out what color i should make the plates. ive got some concepts, but i cant decide. Help?

The last one. It provides the most cohesive look with the rest of the kit overall.

Personally I prefer the first one as it adds a nice balance
2 and 3 are too close to the flak vest color, so unless you play with textures it will not pop enough imo.
4 is nice too, is a more monochrome way. Would work nicely for a desert or urban themed kit

I like the first one, personally; it's emblematic of the Protectorate of Fenn Rau, though I'm not sure that's quite what you're going for. Otherwise I like the last one, as well.

Color for 1 is actually the paint for a KC-46 Pegasus Tanker because I'm heading into the airforce, hopefully as a boom operator
