The helmet previously pictured was a bit too small so I decided to reprint it at 100% instead of 94%, but I don't have a large format printer anymore so I had to cut it in the slicer. I used Weld-On 3 to solvent weld it together, that stuff is great! It works on PLA and PETG. You can position your pieces and clamp them together then use the needle applicator along the joint and capillary action will pull the stuff into the seam. It reaches 80% strength in 24 hours but you can unclamp and handle it after a few minutes. New helmet, new pic.
