Bowcaster advice
« on: Nov 20, 2022, 11:11 PM »
I'm working to convert an Adventure Force crossbow blaster into a bowcaster for my Mandolorian cosplay. I have the crossbow but I'm not sure how I could attach the balls to the ends of the bow-arms. I found some DIY ornaments from Michaels that would work that are plastic and are separated in halves. How could I make a space for them to secure to the bow-arms without risk shattering the plastic?

Pictures for reference:

You could, but I would personally use racquetballs. Easier to work with and put a protective cap on the tips.

Would an xacto knife work for cutting the holes for them to fit?

I don't see why not.

The first rule of Engineering. If it isn't working you aren't using a big enough hammer.
First rule of Engineering, cutting version. If it isn't cutting you aren't using a large enough sawsall.
