Inspired by someone's sleeves
Decided to start working on some leg wraps the other day.

Since Kylo Ren was my first choice for a 501st costume and deciding to go with the MMCC instead of the 501st, I had to incorporate the pleated sleeves into my Mando somehow. I've begun work on making some leg wraps using yellow duck canvas which has been pleated, ironed, and pinned while I start the second one.

Leg wraps: done!
Spent the last week on and off folding, ironing, folding, ironing… and eventually sewing my leg wraps. The zippers will be hidden behind shin/shnee armor and I’m thinking about adding ankle spats to improve the transition between leg and boot. There will also be ankle plates to help hide the tongue of the boot and ankle joint.

More sidearm work
After some procrastination and going on hiatus to take a long overdue vacation I was able to put some work in on my sidearm.

Originally, I had used 5 minute epoxy to attach the barrels to the body of the gun, but the connection points were too small for the epoxy to have a strong hold and quickly broke off after letting it sit and cure for multiple days. Switched over to WaterWeld epoxy putty which gave me a super solid connection.
Used some superglue to attach the scope to the scope mounts and that assembly to the top of the gun. I didn't like the look of the plain mounts, so wanted to see what it would look like with some cotton kitchen twine wrapped around them for a little coverage.

There's still plenty of work to be done (and possibly some things to change, pending any suggestions), but felt the need to make an update and keep that fire lit to prevent me from putting this project down.

Calling it done!

I think I'm done! I think I'm finally done! That is, of course, if anybody points out things that need to be changed, so please, tear it apart. Point out all the flaws. What would prevent this from being approved?

Fresh from the mud and grime of the battlefield, I like it. The scope is awesome!
