I wonder if the spears/naginata used by the Order of the Night Wind in The Book of Boba Fett have ever been seen in the Star Wars universe. Do they already have a name in this universe?

I think they are just a variation of electrostaff or electrobaton.

Wookieepedia says it is called the plasma pike, though it somewhat reminds me of the Aztec macuahuitl.

It does have that feel. While I concede that Wookieepedia is as close to an authority as we can get, I would argue that due to it's length it wouldn't qualify as a "pike" weapon. But plasma pike works.

I've printed a prototype, but I think I need to make it longer. I wish there were better reference photos.

First prototype was too small. Second one was better. Printing the rest of the pieces now.

Prototype done. It has hole for small activation buttons. Took a little over a full roll to print. Will release on Thingiverse soon. Would love to see what other people have done with it.
