Mission Objective: To celebrate a return to normal trooping, and gather money to support Beyond Blue
Event Report: Sandhawk Clan was present at Oz Comic Con Homegrown both days, supporting their allies in the 501st's Knightfall Garrison & Rebel Legion Hoth Base in collecting money for Beyond Blue.
On the first day, two Sandhawks gathered alongside the Rebel and Imperial forces and were armoured & ready by the time doors opened at 9am. The two Sandhawks were joined across the day by many armoured recruits, providing a great opportunity for a face-to-face catch up. There were also several previously-unknown recruits that were encountered - in short order, they were made welcome and given contact information for the clan. Though the two Sandhawks could not stay until the end of the event - as they were committed to attending a 'Life Day' gathering elsewhere - they still remained until almost 5pm, with Sandhawk Clan's Alor'ad only doffing his armour when it was time to depart.
On the second day, the Alor'ad flew solo with the support of his recruits; he dedicated himself to supporting them during the start of the day, donning his armour in time for some group photos alongside the Rebel and Imperial forces. He doffed his armour shortly before doors closed at 5pm and, after a brief pack-down, departed the event bracing for the inevitable "twelve-ish hours in armour" backlash that tomorrow would bring...
