Westar hours



So I still need to print all the little gubbins for the westar.

Question on the paint.  So Rob suggested to paint the grip silver rather than the light gray.  I was going off of reference I've seen in other threads that have the grip painted a light gray and seen some with the grip painted silver. 

Aside from finishing the westar, it's all down to the JP

Took me long enough to get an extra set of hands to get everything on AND take some photos.

Placement can be tricky when trying to communicate with my helpers where things need to go, but we got there.

Right off the bat, I need to get the sleeves pulled up so they're in line with the CRL bit where the second sleeve is about an inch away from the shoulder bell bottom lips.  So working on that.

My seamstress and I have been trying to get to this for awhile.  As I post this, one of the sleeves is currently having the actual sewing done.

I went through printing a total of 6 plates
2 of those I finished only to realize they were too small. 
Plates 3-5 I just kept scaling up
Plate number 6's journey is documented below. 




The last one I had in a set of photos on the bottom.  I think I printed it at 110%
The new one was printed at 140%

Great, yes sizing plates is a struggle. I think we all have plates laying around that either got to small or too big.
