Bill St Bill's Legacy Armor

Hey everybody! I'm trying to figure out my armor size and concept before my sintra arrives. The idea is a mix of Cade Skywalker and Dead Space.
It's hard to see in these pictures, but there are 2 strips of ab armor under the chest piece.




Oh. Those things on the side are stripes like this armor


I've been struggling with the fit of the chest piece. Any advice on it so far?
