I had someone recommend a water downed fabric dye or a polyurethane coating. I also saw online using white vinegar and an iron set on high heat for color run t-shirts. Just wondering if anyone else has any other tips for this. Thanks in advance!
Edit: so i found a quasi-solution that seemed to work. If anyone else is trying to get pigmant/powder paint to stay in their soft parts so they can wash them i suggest givibng this a try:
1) lay soft parts flat and coat with white vinegar from a spray bottle.
2) let dry then iron with a high heat both sides.
3) turn inside out and wash, if its small enough to fit in a garment bag put it in one as well.
Now this isnt perfect and youll lose some of the weathering but it worked for me. So use at your own risk.
