Mission Objective: Run an informational booth to inform the general public about the MMCC, interact with the public in costume by posing for photos.
Event Report: The Wolves of Mandalore arrived at the Capitola Mall on Friday at morning at 11:00 and begin setup of their table area and photo backdrop in a space shared with the Droid Builders Guild. The convention was open on Friday to VIP members from 2:00 to 7:00. Mandalorians were the only costumed characters on the first day of the event. On the second and third days, the Wolves of Mandalore arrived at 9:00 to prepare the table, and the event opened to the general public from 10:00 to 6:00. Mandalorians roamed the venue throughout Saturday, intereacting with guests until the event ended. On Sunday, several Star Wars guests were brought in for autographs and photo opportunities. The Wolves of Mandalore posed as "security" for the celebrities (the Armorer, and 5 Fetts) and interacted with the public from 11:00 until 4:00. At the end of the evening, they were asked to take photos with the celebrities before they left for the day.
On Sunday, Emily Swallow came to our table in person and let us know that "she knew who we were, and she wanted to make sure she could take a photo with the group before she left". The Wolves of Mandalore costumed characters all stayed in costume until the end of the day so that she could get that photo. They were very sore and tired, but also very happy
