Thanks for the tip Gelia, I will re-print the plates ad additional 10% bigger and see how they look. I want to give this every chance of passing approval. I should have everything together by the end of next week and ready to put it all together.

New vest arrived earlier than expected. It's finally all together! Just need to lightly weather the soft parts, slightly tailor the vest and add a hidden side zipper to make it easier to get into. I plan to bolt the jetpack directly to the vest (hence the side zipper!) Larger thigh plates will finish printing overnight and will only need a day of decent weather to finish off.

excellent job, what I did was put some rings with a 2 hard plastic plate inside the vest screwed and make the jetpack its lace, the truth is very well attached and easy to put on and remove

I managed to finish the modification tonight and it works well.

Now i just need to attach the jetpack and decide on one of the many ways to attach the shoulders to the loops provided.

I was able to successfully attach the jetpack to the flack vest using a combination of velcro and two bolts for strength. The vest/jetpack combo is surprisingly comfortable.

Please excuse the shorts - its Deathwatch beach day!. First test for all of the top armour was a success, hopefully it all holds up during my first major test and photo shoot this weekend.

Now to weather the soft goods and finish off the new slightly larger leg plates.

Full kit up yesterday with everything working as expected! I have had a full list of application photos taken and submitted!

I have just received the news from my local 501st Garrisson that my kit has been approved, now waiting for Mercs approval!

Hi Bryn, I submitted my app over the weekend, hoping to hear back by mid April when I head to Melbourne (Australia). I have an opportunity to troop at the screening of the final Mandalorian season attended by Katee Sackoff.
