How well do those gloves fit you?  Are your fingertips all the way to the seam, or is there some play at the end?

It fits pretty well really. A little bit wide at the bottom, but fingers fit as well as they can. I am surprised even, because such gloves are made for man's hand most of the time.

The thighs and shins look like the ones from the templates for Legacy era with those segmented plates.

I draw all the templates by hand for it to fit my own body. And i recommend you to do the same

Don't really like the color of belt and gloves in comparison with armor, will fix later in the process.

The gloves look fine to me. as does the utility belt. It's the garish orange girth belt that I don't like. It's too bright and loud compared to the rest of the kit. I'd go with a brown or tan girth belt instead.

I don't think so. It's not just the brightness. It's that the color itself clashes with the rest of the kit. All of your kit is earth tones: browns, tans, and OD greens. These all work harmoniously. The orange clashes with them. IF it were the same color as your breastplate, then that would work a lot better. As it stands, it's out of place, and weathering it isn't likely to change that.

You can change the color of the girthbelt no problem. Just use acrylic spraypaint.

Yes, yes it will.  I've had some bright orange components to my kit over the years and a weathering does tone it down by quite a bit to match the rest of your kit with earthy tones.
