I airbrushed it with yellow ochre and touched up the weathering after that. It now has the "this was yellow" look and maintained most of it's flexibility.  I need to work it to soften it up again, but I am very happy that I was able to save the existing cape.  More to come soon.

Small update: 

I got in my boot spikes and I removed/ covered the logos and added some accent dying to add some interest to them. I still need to sand the filler on the spike screws, then paint them.

I'm still currently lacking the gloves that I ordered.  Long story....gotta love Etsy sometimes.  I'm beginning to formulate my backup plan.  Would these work?  I'm okay with possibly modifying some,  I just don't trust myself to make gloves from scratch yet.

I would imagine those would be fine but personally, I would go with something that has a little more 'depth' to to like these. Slap some patches on them like PrePro Boba and good to go.

These are the ones I would recommended myself, I use them on all my kits and they would go well with the protector.

Sounds good.  I found similar in gray from a different seller, but functionally the same.  If my Etsy debaucle doesn't work out in my favor I will get these on the way.  The gloves should be the last thing I need to get in my possession, the rest is just the details.

Looking good dude! Your weathering turned out great!

My only two suggestions would be to shift the cod up so that the girth belt covers the side "tabs" on the top. Boba's girth belt typically covers about half of the cod. As yours sits currently, just looks like it's sagging a little bit but boss man can weigh in on that. Second suggestion would just be to do a little weathering to your belt buckle.

Also, loving the kyber crystal you have tied up on your wookie braid trophies. That's a fun touch! I have one wrapped to the back of my belt by where I have my lightsaber trophies.

I agree, I completely missed the belt buckle, I also noticed that my helmet fan wire poked out too.  That will be solved by plugging in the fans.

All in all I'm very excited for the test run.

According to my RS I'm nearly ready to pre-app.  I'm working on a few minor tweaks and then I will get good pics.  The ones I have now are after 2 hours in the kit at a con and it shows. Still not bad though.  I'm looking forward to having more to share.

Great news!  I got my approval on this kit earlier today.  Here's the real start of the brigade journey. 






I think I just need the jetpack at this point.  I'm thinking about a very similar scheme to ROTJ,  with some blues and a little purple accent.  The Cobb rocket will be very close to the on screen coloration.
