This is me first attempt at a jet pack, it is going to hook on to the back of me chair.
I started with 2 plastic paint trys

next came lots of bondo and filler work

next came all the add ons



The next batch of pics will be of paint and weathering and with it attached to chair

Looks awesome man!!! Can't wait for our next shop day to get this painted... Did you manage to keep the lights running on it? I also have some last minute ideas, if you're game, for it.

Hopefully my armor and bucket will be in soon. I think once we get this done we're ready to suit you up and send an app in to see how you did!

Thanks for all the positive feedback.  I hope to start the paint job soon, just waiting for some good weather so I can start it.  I will post more pics as soon as I can of the paint and with it attached to my chair.  And with any luck finish my armor and get approved.

I've got some advice from friends on here on how to combat the weather. I'll explain it to you later today when I call. Involves a box, a fan, a plastic bag and some duck tape. And likely some sort of bribe to your wife so she doesn't kill me. XD

Really good looking jetpack. You've got a good eye for transforming items, never would have thought of a paint tray myself.

Very cool!  Does your chair have spokes in the wheels?  Have you thought about making it look "futuristic" by adding some "wheel covers"...sort of like hubcaps?

Can't wait to see how all this turns out.

He does have wheelchair covers, and some rather awesome ones, but i'll let him post pics of them.

Just gotta find a way for us to work in the cold, gonna try a method someone else suggested here.

I do have wheel covers, they come solid black, I had them painted by my tattoo artist, the myto skull in red outlined in silver, looks very cool
