SO CRL updates probably wont happen till later this year following the Season 3 updates.

There isnt a great "definitive" answer to the pistol becuase we only ever see the handle. We went with black until season 2 showed an upgraded paint job. That said, as long as the areas in question are silver like the reference image - it will be approvable. There is a broader range of approvability than previously indiciated.

Costume parts we got pretty darn close to correct - this has also be confirmed by our peers at BHG, theres crossover in staff between the clubs.

Sounds great. Yes I figured CRL updates for new Canon and OC costumes may be a while. Just wondered if LA DW may happen due to previous response.  No biggie.
As for Westar then I will paint as specified—silver magwell, cap screw and grip. I guess the rest I will look at others who were approved and follow their lead. Thank you!!

Quick test fit. I am waiting on correct jet pack. I am asking for feedback on weathering, overall armor fit/placement due to adding new larger chest plate (12.5inches) as well as larger thigh plates. I also have a compare pic from when I had smaller thigh plates and the flightsuit had not been dyed purple and weathered (left pic).

I swear I think I am standing straight. Even in a costume I am not photogenic.

-Gonna be good those updates and overall you are doing excellent, thighs are really close now but if you want even better i see it perfect.
-Chest is n1 nightmare in this crl ,very dificult to adjust the bottom angles cause are so close compared with middle ones ,i would say there are not a perfect chest cast file made but it will help for printing gives to file lot inclination curve

Thanks. Not sure I can get the thigh plates any bigger. No room. As for the chest plate I do not have a 3D printer. So I am at mercy of what vendors offer and I do not see how they can make the chest plate with that kind of angle you have marked in picture. It almost appears the actor’s plate is flexible? I hope to get a chance a have someone help me kit up for better pictures. I noticed my knees are uneven. Thanks!!

Between 8-10% bigger chest will be enough vod and about actor`s parts surely they use some kind of flex rubber cast in some armor parts lol

Solid progress!!! westar grip excellent ,i love that scope man
I can let you, or anyone else know where to get one if you are interested. It is a small scope restoration business. He has some that are non operational ie: no innards, may not have lenses and may look a little worn. 100.00 But hey, looks pretty cool.

So I decided  to get the jet pack thruster balls recessed into the body. I am still hoping the vendor for the fiberglass jp that is bigger to come through, but not being positive about that. My problem. Anyway, since this jp is iffy I went ahead and modified. I used a dremel to remove material. Maybe this will help and I can use it.

Hi Vod
With an extra work those thruster balls can be repaired lol but i I have doubts that it will be approved by the size, its needs at least overall 2"-2.5" wider ,around 20% -25% bigger in general i guess, these DW jetpacks are big enough as seen in the show....
Westar have lot of work and a good paint job lol,you did very well.

Yup that is what I thought. Thanks. I was contacted by vendor and so far the larger correct jet pack should be in my hands and ready for prep and paint by me in about 3 weeks.
