Question - Approvable Shoulder Cape
« on: Jan 02, 2023, 11:46 AM »
I have a question about:

I hope to use a cape with shoulder armor attached to it - see image. Assuming Iím wearing shoulder armor on the other shoulder, is this cape approvable as-is? Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your question!

To anyone reading this- I PM'd this individual to gain some clarifying questions before I answered privately but the information is good to pass along

The cape itself is approvable since it is a custom design that draws heavy inspiration from Cal Kestis' cape in the video game. I would suggest that one does custom colors and not the Canon colors we see from screen references. The only issue is the top armor plate. That would not be allowed. The only armor that can be on what I call Elective soft parts are the Kama and loin cloth, depending on the Era of costume you are building. This is a great question and I hope it helps more people moving forward
