I have a couple of questions when it comes to soft parts.

1: Do I need a flight suit AND flak vest AND cummerbund or any combo of that?

would something like this be approved?

3: if 2 is a no, do you have any recommendations on SWARSY looking flight suits? I dont have the skills/patience/steady hands to do any sewing on a set of Dickie's coveralls (although that would probably be significantly cheaper) I was looking for something like Cal Kestus' flight suit but I have been so busy with work I haven't even checked to see if anybody can make me one in black to go with my color palette.

Tramp is right. Cummerbunds are optional in Post Imperial. They are also not CRL compliant for Modern and earlier era styles (where different waist item rules apply).
Flight suit and vest is a hard requirement for PI and Modern custom characters.

wait cummerbunds arent CRL compliant for Modern? i thought they are basically waist sashes and this is in the modern CRL

Waist Items:

You must have at least two of the following items in any combination: ammo belt, girth belt or waist sash, holster belt.

They are different creatures. Look at what Din is wearing; it's almost an apron.

A girth belt is based on the equine tack piece of the same name, a sash is a sash (check every swashbuckler movie ever). But the are all very different pieces.

ok. I have to stick to modern as i have already paid and received a kama with loin cloth and loin cloths arent CRL for post imp, so would this as "Tuxedo style" be acceptable for modern?

Yeah, the "tux" one would probably pass, looks like the velcro is covered. I'd run it past your RS first, just to be sure.

If anybody was silently following, one of my Ruus gave a yes, didn't specify which style is good for modern but I was going with the tux style anyway
