I have a question about:
I'm building a Crusader Era Mando using the Shae Vizla style helmet and I'm having trouble figuring out what is acceptable for my chest armor. I have the file for a simplified version of the Neo-Crusader chest plate, but I've been told that this is only allowed for Neo-Crusaders. I was guided to look at the NC CRLs that say I have to use an NC style helmet if I'm to use that chest. However it doesn't say this anywhere under the NC CRLs. It also doesn't say anywhere that a regular Crusader build can't use a NC style chest plate.
Is that chest plate not basic enough to be used across a build from either era? And since it's a full body plate, it crosses off having an abdomen plate that is required by a Crusader build.
If I'm in the wrong, can I get some guidance on how to alter my chest plate to be acceptable for a Crusader build? And if the above is true about it only being allowed for an NC, may I suggest an edit to the CRLs that state this? It seemed like a pretty straightforward idea to use a chest plate from the same relative era and worn by the same overall group of people.
I appreciate any and all help, as I thought I was pretty set here having followed the CRLs - but now I'm just confused.
