How about a grey face plate on the helmet, and then more of the orange accents on the sides and iron heart of the chest, plus the trauma plate border of the shoulders?

Or you could do the inverse (grey trauma plate, colored main plate).

Hi guys! :mtu: :boba: :sabine: :vizsla: :maul: :cookie: :mcq1: :mcq2:

Thanks for the Input, I have taken all of your idea and mix it with mine! Finally I finish the upper body :) I hope, I can get InTouch with the approval team soon to get their input as well. I add the gauntlets ( I mod from thinkiverse). I added belt, gloves and a few weapons, as "the berserker", I am giving him a ton of weapon and a lot of it will be melee like vibroknife, to make him like this melee mandalorian. (I take away the cape, it's to much happening in the design with it)

I am open to comment and critics ,specially if it help to get easier approval, THX!

here is the render

and just a profile pict for me for this forum :D

This is amazing!

A little creepy, but amazing!

It's fascinating to watch disembodied parts of an awesome custom Mandalorian assemble themselves hovering in midair...

Could you zoom in on the gauntlets in the render? I was scrolling up and down to compare it to the previous version, and I'm having a little difficulty spotting a difference from this "distance" away from the model...

Would you point it out for me? Thanks!

I really like the belt buckle and knife holsters, by the way... even if I can't have armor plates on my sides in a Post-Imp concept, that looks like a great idea!

That's sort of what I was saying. I don't think there is anything specifically against side armor in the CRL, but I think that the holsters would work around the issue, if there is one.

Also, cool updates on the gauntlets! I see it now.

Hi,
I finally finish my 3D kit... I wanted the legs abit more armored and could hide my heeled boots cause I wanted to be taller in the suit :) I also added a painted mythosaur on his chest to get a punisher feel to it. Adding  more emphasis that he is crazy and a loner that can explode in any moment.

I am open to Critics and comments, also really hoping that I can find someone in the approval team to show/tell me if I did somethings  that not approvable, before i print the armor.

I hope you guys like it AND NEXT! will be the weapons!! and will rendering each part more clearly

here is also a close up pict just for me to see how the mando looks when it have little pose ;)

Best,
Fritz

oh btw just wanted to know if I use a weapon from the knight of Ren weapon is it ok? cause even though it is not a lightsaber in the comic it is official they are force sensitive in some extend and it is not  a common weapon but I just love the design. I wanted to use the heavy blade from one of them. Below is the pict

Well first off, yeah youi're rendering skill are quite impressive. take that effort and apply it to the physical armor and you'll be approved in no time. Seriously good work.
Not an app team, but I've been a ruus for a while now, so I can give some educated feedback on most of things.
Helmet shouldn't have an issue. most I could see would maybe be them asking to simplify the horn detail? Most of the helmets we see with similar adornment are more basic blocky, this looks almost to akin to halo style. It's def close enough that i've youre happy as it is, drop it in the app q&a form first. I've been proven wrong at least twice in my life... maybe 3 times but i stopped counting after that ;)
chest armor looks fine. you've got paz visla with some greeblies. I dont see much reason it wouldn't be allowed.
The boot armor is a bit too close to halo for my liking. I'd suggest an altering of the toes a bit so it's less spartan like.
I also dont see any reason why the ren blade would be an issue. lots of folks carry their axes, or variations thereof. So again, worst case just alter the blade geometry, and or add a few more greeblies or plating layering for aesthetic.
If something was unintelligible I do that sometimes and apologize, but feel free to reach out with any questions! cant wait to see this take shape.

Thank you for the compliment and input! This helps a lot, and I think you can see it too... I took inspiration from Master chief armor and perhaps it become too halo rather than star wars in some parts :D

I'll take it into account and revise the horn and boot armor (which I have done and now I'm rendering all of it), I have send the Q&A form for the helmet but I'll make both so if either one is accepted I have two helmet :D

For the weapon, thanks for the info, I am planning to change some stuff to it and mixing some of the axe element into it :)
Thank you so much!! it help me a bunch and will point me to the right direction :porg2: :porg2:

Just my 2 credits here...

So you're planning on dual wielding 2 two-handed weapons? That would be very difficult unless your Mando is growing two additional limbs.

With how important weapons are to a Mando they are going to choose the best option for them. If they are going to use a two-handed weapon, they are going to choose their best two-handed weapon option. If they are going to dual-wield, they are going to choose the best single-handed weapons. You wouldn't have a soldier wielding two pole-arms, like a halberd. They would pick the best weapon for their fighting style. You are going to be handicapped in a fight trying to use a weapon in a way it wasn't intended. Someone fighting with 2 two-handed axes is going to most likely lose in a battle to someone fighting with 2 one-handed axes. It might look cool on a poster to see something like this, but it is not something we would see in canon or in a movie. I always try to think about how my Mando would fit into a movie or show. It was cool seeing Din pick up and use the E-Web the way he did. It would not be believable, or make any sense, for him to try to be carrying it around everywhere.

Keep in mind that the difference between a Light Melee Mando and a Heavy Melee Mando is the armor, not the weapon. You could have a heavy armored Mando with  a vibro-rapier and a light armored Mando with a great axe.

From a practical point of view; you're going to have to carry these around all day at cons and events. That is going to become unwieldy and leave you with both of you hands full. It's a fine line balancing concepts and deliverables.

Just a thought as you continue with your build. Looking forward to seeing it come to life.

Hi!,
no problem...you got a point there, it is unwieldy to carry a two handed weapon with one hand but what I see from the toys, poster and comic of Trudgen with his blade, he is able to use the vibrocleaver with one hand, the blade I think is treated almost like a katana or a lightsaber where you use 2 hand, and the hilt have the space for two hand but it is light enough to be use with one hand as well. I also remember (correct me if I'm wrong) that vibroblade/sword in SWKOTOR 2 is able to be dual-wielded once the dual-wield skill is unlock. I think it's like a kindna depend on your fighting style.

My Idea of the character is that he is strong enough that he could carry both at ease. So he got little less speed but with his thick armor its fine and he got double the destruction power, and he is kindna crazy mix with some old school, preferring to face the opponent with steel not blasters if can :) Saying so it does make sense, in con and events, it will be very hard to hold both giant blade. Perhaps I can make the left one smaller Like Asoka lightsabers, plus if i got tired I can make a  the smaller blade scabbard or holster to put it in, so I'll be left carry 1 giant blade :)

thanks for the Input though! I'll keep it in mind when I'm making it!
