Hello, finally got my first helmet and I’m looking to convert an Alter Ego Vanguard bucket into something acceptable for a late crusader build. Is this even possible or will it get shot down? If it has been done before, could I get some references? Super excited to get started.

Your introduction post should now reference links on how to post photos.  This would be the most beneficial to learn how to do for future posts.  Also contacting your local Ruus'alor for future clarifications for your build.

I've done a little bit of research on the first helmet you have from Alter Ego.  They are an approved vendor and the helmet The Vanguard is approved for Modern and Post Imperial Eras.  I would encourge you to look at the alternative eras section of the forums for other crusader WIPs and reference images for the crusader era.
