Possibly getting distracted from other builds but an EC was inevitable for me...

Taking inspiration from Sov's excellent build (https://mandalorianmercs.org/forum/index.php?topic=186051.0) for the helmet I'm going for a half mask style with leather hood. Rough preview of planned printed armour below...


A lot of the gear I'm aiming to use will be leather welding gear with any insulating layers stripped out and modified.




Majority of the hard armour parts will be sintra that I'm going to attempt a beaten metal effect on (either via heat, a hammer or dremel grinding tool). Heavy shin/knee combo, upper chest and ab and bicep plates.


And some dye down on a basic set of white overalls...

Sweet, this is a great start to an EC build.  I look forward to following along with your progress.

It's a great build, and thanks, will do!

Small update with an initial run of printed parts - happy with the gauntlets, knee is nice and snug, shoulder is a little small but I may just keep this asymmetric and bump up for the other side.




First run on the mask - happy with the overall look, I may just add an extra piece to come back over the top of my head. Not sure if it is looking too long - in the mirror it looks great but photo has come out looking a little tall.
