It got a little more serious - second waist item is done, albeit the item it holds is not attached yet (I still have to work how to transfer it into the Star Wars universe). Thusly, this kit is into pre-app stage right now:









This is not the end though. I found a solution for the zip of my beast tamer boots, which I will also use for this kit, alternating with the red motocross boots:



(The insert is harvested from old leather motorcycle pants which fit me back in the day. Now the stretch leather panels come in very handy.)

And yes, the second boot will be done in the same manner.

So....during pre-app status, it was detected that sadly, this helmet cannot be used with this era. So I will shelve it for a possible future project. It is classified as a crusader era helmet.

Consequently, I had to source for something more modern. As I decided this metal kit needs an equally metal helmet, I decided for this one:

It will customized to be symmetrical on the left and right, without a rangefinder.

For now, the app process is on hold. As I inted to go heavy assault with this thing anyway, in the time the helmet will be manufactured, I will finish the arm harness and the energy shield contraption.
