Question - Helmet Visor design question

I have a question about:

First off, for some reason I can't actually post the helmet photo on imger so I'm using one I found on Google, I know it needs the vertical portion.

Is there a ruling in whether or not the horizontal portion can be modified as shown? CRLs only talk about the 1/3 vertical rule. Modern/post imp

The CRL should be 2/3rds of the vertical section need to be cut out. Please reference this image.


Additionally this helmet is from a known vendor with issues - there typically are elements of the greeblies that would need to be removed to ensure this helmet is approvable. Namely removing the greeblies on the upper cheeks. We do highly recommend looking at a different vendor for helmets.
