Ok i've had them awhile but as modifications are being done i figured i'd post a thread to get some feedback, the suit originaly had leftover velcro patch remnants and an annoying elastic band that made the wasit unconfortable, the vest originaly was a gold vest but changes are slowly being made to it theres still remainders of the liquid stich goop i used for the snap system initialy but that should come out with a few washes(cold water so as to not shrink the suit or vest) and im gona add shoulder bits when i go back to clean up the sewing job i did on it  the boots need to be repaired and have the hotglue(i was in a rush to mount my old boot plates) removed the gloves also need a wash intend to add puches to the belt/kama combo so it counts for my ammo belt needs(and phone case needs , im never keeping my phone in my sleeve at a con again) but for the moment here is an unarmored Purdii Komn'rk

thoughts? comments? Suggestions?

Do you already have a sash/girthbelt/ammo belt in the works as well?  Since most of the visuals of mandos show them having some sort of wide underbelt or sash under their ammo belt I would recommend one of those.  Would go on over the vest and kama to help hide the kama buckle.

I hav'nt started one yet I was planning on attaching ammo pouches across the belt to help hide the belt buckle though could someone post a visual to give me a guideline to follow?

Here's what I might recommend.  Go check out a thrift store for a wide leather belt (around 2 inches or so).  Make sure it buckles around your waist/stomach area.  Put your ammo pouches on that and buckle the belt backwards on your body (can buckle in front and then spin it around on your waist).  That would make a good ammo belt.  You can find ammo pouches on ebay for a pretty decent price.

Get some fabric, maybe white or dark grey, in a canvas type material (somewhat heavy).  Sew a simple canvas belt sash.  Similar to an "obi" if you've ever made a jedi costume.  Make it about 4-5 inches wide and long enough to go around your waist.  Sew some velcro closures on each end.

Put on the flight suit, then vest, then kama, then sash, then ammo belt.

Something like this:
