Attaching a servo-powered rangefinder
« on: May 26, 2023, 01:47 PM »
So I'm in the middle of making a servo-powered rangefinder by using Mandalore's video on Youtube! My only problem is, once the actual programming/soldering is done...I have no idea how I'm supposed to attach it to my bucket!!!

Does anyone have a link to a vid, a forum post, or a step-by-step of how to install the servo-powered rangefinder to the helmet itself?

Thanks in advance!!!

That sounds awesome! Do you have a link to the video?

As for attaching, sometimes people use magnets if it needs to be removable, but without reference pictures of your project, I'm not really sure if I can give you any advice.

I find it so cool that lots of the Mercs use electronics in their kits; I'm hoping to integrate some into my kit once I get things going.

Actually I'm waiting for my servo to come in so I can begin attaching everything to make sure it all works. But once I finish the build I will def add pics to the thread and any methods I could figure out to install it into the helmet =)
