Inquiry about helmets
« on: May 24, 2023, 06:09 PM »
Hey vode,
I've been starting to plan my first kit, and I've started thinking about my helmet. I've found which one I'm going to use (the Guardian by AlterEgo Armory) and I've got the design down, but I've been wondering, how do you properly fit a 3D printed helmet to your head? Is there a specific harness I should buy for the mounting, or should I be using padding?
Also, what should I be using to attach the visor to the helmet? I've heard talk of using velcro, but my worry about that would be too much gaps between the helmet and the visor.
Thanks in advance, all the help so far has been amazing!

Airsoft pads, moto pads, hardhat rig...

Visors can be velcro, chicago screws... magnets. Gap can go to 6mm.
