Here's the overall colour scheme! I've changed the dark grey to a navy blue though... Due to paint availability..
I was considering changing the grey to a beskar color, using graphite powder scrub?

Anyone with references to good Etsy shops or custom shops for the missing pieces please let me know!! Free files are best ofc, but I don't mind paying for files either 😊😊

Here's the front:

Here's the back:

Still looking for a few STL files. A Cod piece (undecided if I will implement as of yet), shoulder bells, jetpack/backpack for sure...
Contemplating adding a vibroaxe/beskad, will be adding throwing knives to a number of places attached to the armor. Plus contemplating adding a fur kama!
Adding a fur neck covering similar to https://www.dhgate.com/product/scarves-faux-fur-scarf-long-jackets-coat/824117026.html?f=bm%7cGMC%7cpla%7c16625114107%7c%7c824117026%7c%7c109004001001%7cUS%7cloquat18%7cc%7c2%7c&utm_source=pla&utm_medium=GMC&utm_campaign=loquat18&utm_term=824117026&gclid=Cj0KCQjw7PCjBhDwARIsANo7CgloctBbQIYy9__W2p_1XdRgiyMpNNVvy3HUfBaraHliI3_wjvKFm9waAhAaEALw_wcB

The whole overarching theme is definitely a winter/snow mando (Canada represent!  :P :P )

Added some shoulders, and greeblies to gauntlets... Whistling birds on right, screen, pad and greeblies on Left. Any input appreciated!
Funny build because right handed, but left eye dominant... *shrug*

If you're left eye dominant, shoot left handed. What your dominant hand is really isn't important, as much as what your dominant eye is, since that is the eye you'd be aiming with, and your weapon needs to line up with your dominant eye. I'm both left-handed and left eye dominant, but I knew several people in my unit in the Army who were either right-handed/Left-eye dominant, or Left-anded/right-eye-dominant, and they each had to learn to shoot with their off hands in order to be able to properly aim with their dominant eye.

Now, as far as costuming goes, that's not as important, you can do what you want, but it is something to think about, and is important if you ever do plan on learning to use firearms or even archery.

I do hunt with a compound bow, and yes I use my left hand as my draw hand! Same with rifle 😊
Things just get a little... Interesting when setting up knives etc and can look a little strange  :P

Out of curiosity (only fired a pistol once) can i shoot right handed with a pistol, while using my left eye as my lead?

I wouldn't. Trying to aim with one eye while holding the weapon with the opposite hand requires contorting your shoulder and head in rather uncomfortable angles in order to line the weapon's sights up with your eye. We see Nicholas Cage do just that with his hand in the movie Firebirds, when his partner asks him to show her how he pointed a gun when playing "Cowboys and Indians" as a kid. He pointed his right hand in line with his left eye, showing that he was left eye dominant, which is a problem when trying to use the weapon systems of an Apache helicopter, given that the targeting reticule on the helmets is always mounted over the right eye, and that was throwing off his targeting in training. It was really awkward though because his  arm had to cross his body at an odd angle, and his head had to tilt to the right as well. It's a completely unnatural way to shoot. It's better to just use the hand that corresponds with the dominant eye. Everything just lines up more naturally.

As for knives and other melee weapons, definitely use your dominant hand. Typically, it'll be stronger for striking a blow. It's just ranged weapons that require aiming that really require that you use the hand that corresponds with your dominant eye, even if that would otherwise be your off hand.

For knives etc, cross draw seems more natural.. I guess I have some configuring to do once things are nearing finished then.

Straight draw from a knife on right hip would lead me to a reverse grip naturally, perhaps I could remedy that by using a sheath on thigh (think drop leg holster), and thermal detonators/pockets on right side of my belt? Perhaps a sheath on the back of the belt (I think they call this scout carry)

Any suggestions or memories from ex military buddies that were left eye right hand dominant?

For the knife, my favorite position is the outside of the boot. That's where I plan on keeping my Kal dagger if I can ever find a sheath to fit it. A "Scout carry" scabbard would be ideal for a Beskad, something else I want to eventually add to my kit.

As for grenades/thermal detonators, typically, we carried four grenades. These were stowed in special pockets on either side of each of the two ammo pouches attached to the front of our belts and hanging from our suspenders.

Sorry for all the questions, I know rivets and fasteners are supposed to be hidden...

Is it allowed to have beskar sheathes riveted to your chest plate? Leaving the rivets visible for thematic purposes? There's no evidence of seeing any welds onto beskar that I know of, that a person could try to emulate. Trying to add a metal sheathe so it is clear that it is a personalized addition without it appearing to be simply glued on.

That's something to ask your Ruus'alore and the App Team.
