Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that had flight suits is small sizes, hopefully in gray?  I'm a petite (5'2") 22 year old girl, and I really want a gray flight suit for my kit, and would like to not have to do too many alterations. Thanks in advance for any help

Thank you for posting this! I was actually thinking of making a post like this one  but you beat me to it

I'm 5'3"ish and my sewing machine is on the fritz. It's really hard to find something that'll fit me without either dragging off my feet or looking like I'm wearing a circus tent Or worse, charging $200 for something that would actually work.

 If anyone has any resources, please send them my way too!

Actual flightsuits are hard to come by for women. Most go with 2 piece track suits, or anything of the like where one can match colors on top and bottom and "seal" with a girth belt.

Finding one that doesn't make me look like I'm swimming in it is gonna be hard and since I can't sew but my mom can, more so. Length wise I don't really care as I would like to have some knee high boots I can tuck the legs into, and shin armor on top, so that's not too much of an issue. Hemming the legs wouldn't be hard, I just worry that trying to take in a one piece suit like that would be more trouble than it's worth.

I know how you feel.  My wife's a skinny, average height woman, and we're on a walmart clothing budget.  We have the choice of oversized, oversized, oversized, Hanna Montana-branded, or jailbait tramp clothes.  Good thing for us I can sew... I'm still working on flightsuits though.  If you're still looking in a couple months I might be able to make you something.

This made me lol...mostly because I'm in the exact same situation. Except I'm not even average height. I'm only 5'1.

My first "flightsuit" was a long sleeve top and leggings dyed to match, but I was never really happy with it since I prefer a more classic look.  I then made a two piece suit that buttons together at the waist which I occasionally still wear, but I now have a traditional one-piece with Fett style sleeves. I found a grey cotton twill with a slight stretch to it and tailored the suit to fit, with bust darts and everything. I love it.

The point is, the best option for petite girls who want a traditional look is to either sew it up yourself or find someone to make it for you.
