I play Halo a lot and I'm not seeing it. Given I'm no expert, but those do not remind me of Halo. Given they do not scream Star Wars, but that doesn't mean they can't be used as a base. Best weapon to try and replicate is the Verp and I'd say the sniper version of the DC-17.

ok guys kind of an update, but not really as im redoing some things I had already started...

had to redo my bucket cuz after the first layer of glass the original was WAY to small (the bottom of the visor cuts right thru the middle of my eyes, should make a good one for my little mando, shes already wanting one)...so here is the new one, did a 10% increase on the WOF templates & now it is big on me but after glass & lining it'll be just fine...I need to rework the dome then I'll be glassing it tonight



& now my re-designed rifle (thanx guys for catching the CRL violation before it got to far), I used the original rifle as a base as I have already got a start on it & have come up with this design, which is kinda my original design & the Verp in a bastardized version of themselves, the foregrip is free floating under the barrel & the there will be a small dowel next to the main barrel to add effect...more greebles will be added & im thinking about adding a 2nd smaller scope to the front ot the barrel behind the silencer & there will be a big magazine sticking straight out from the other side...hope this works for getting past CRLs

I like the rifle. Kind of a mix between a verp and a rebel assault rife from ESB. ad another scope or two and it'll be grand but thats just me, i like lots of scopes.

thanx for the feedback guys...lookin forward to moving on now that I have a more "swarzy" looking sniper rifle. this weekend however will be dedicated to my Buy'ce, my girl is keeping me motivated as she is as excited to see it done as I am...will keep you guys posted & thanx again for the comments

Hey guys...just wanted to give you a quick update. over the weekend I got my vest started, I need to get the Velcro to finish it up & to attach the plates (once I get them shaped...come on Chris, you slacker ) anyway, it's not much but it's progress


Laid down the plates on it for size comparrison, need to redo my collar to fit the vest's neck line a bit better...


Still a long way to go, got a few plates still left to cut out (namely my shins, knees, boot, collar & back pieces), let me know what you guys think!

Also before any one asks the sleeves are missing for a reason...the shoulder plates are going to go on the upper part of my Trench so in the interest of comfort & work load I left the sleeves off my flack vest.

Hey all...not a big update but I got bored the other day & finally put down on paper what Naasad will look like

Here is what I came up with...


At the meeting on the 17th I was talking to a couple folks & they  thought I should go with a sleeveless Trench, so that is what I've done. I will be putting the sleeves on my vest after all & the shoulder bells will peek out from under the trench. I also have my sniper rifle & one of my blasters in there. I plan on having a smaller jetpack, built for quick bursts of speed as well as flight.

Not much but let me know what you guys think...

Looking good so far and I like what you did with the Back Plate. I'm going to have to think about that, once I get my BP, I will test fit it and see if I need to segment it.
