Well, the finish draws ever closer!  I have but a few more things to paint and attach via glue and then straps.  Then onto the barrel quiver and I am complete.  Lights will come later as I have some spots for them to go.  

Sorry I only have two update pics.  My camera ran out of batteries and I was lucky to get these!!

That was a goodwill find.  I have a few more things to do on it, but I'm happy with what I have.  Besides, it fit perfectly into place!

Thanks!  I've still some ways to go, but what you see is, for the most part, what It is going to be.  That hose is going to attach to my helmet, though I've yet to decide the location.  Either back right side, back middle above the grate or on the right front...

Whats the diamiter on the hose? If it's not to big I'd do something like this

I think I'd put the attachment points off center, closer to the earcaps myself.

Similar to how they used TIE fighter model kit parts in some of the props for the ROTJ (I think...)

I like the pack so far, excellent work.

This looks absolutely fantastic, man!
As for hose placement, think about how stiff the hose is. If it's too stiff, putting it on the front is gonna limit how far you can turn your head, 'cause the hose will be pulling on your helmet.
So, I'd go for back right side, or back left.

Well, after a brief hiatus due to potential loss of home owners insurance, I have finally finished my backpack.  After a search and a lucky find I was able to fill in the necessary gaps.  Though I must admit, I'm not 100% complete as I need to add the straps to wear it, but that is semantics. 

Here she is!







Here she is with the helmet attached via hose.  I did a test and it works very well.  (At least until my first troop at which point I am sure something will fail!)

Thanks everyone.  And thanks Kel for the link, I suppose I could have searched, but that would make too much sense.  Don't want to muddle things by being all logical and stuff.

Now I await my wife's sewing machine to be up and running so I can get the harness done.  Once complete, I'll have images of me wearing it.
