Ok so this is going to be my official thread for my armor.

I've decided to go with Late Era type Crusader.
He'll be hostile environment, assassin.

Here's an early concept (shows the jetpack design) :





The main color is Dark Purple and the secondary color will be Dark Grey.


My antenna will be made out of a Xbox 360 wifi attachment:

(I will paint the white part dark purple and create an energy source to make the light turn on)


I be using this as a jetpack, I'll replace the yellow with dark purple.

I'll have custom gaunts made.
My left gauntlet will have a wrist rocket and dart launcher and a deployable sidearm blade. (no springs of course)
My right gauntlet will have a built in datapad (similar to Shae Vizla's) and it too will have a deployable sidearm blade.

Yup ! No spring loaded weapons or anything sharp . Youve got to remember you are mingling with the public . Too easy to hurt folk with Nasty sharp pointy things !

Hey there guys I was wondering, which helmet type should I have to create my helmet?
The Mercenary or the Enforcer?

Neither. You need to scratchbuild something. Per the CRL, modern era helmets may not even be used as bases for this era. There are too many "tells" int he modern era helmet that by the time you mod and hide them all it would have been cheaper, easier and less work to scratchbuild.

Oh alright. What would you recommend as a base?
Maybe a baseball, skateboard or bicycle helmet?

I myself just used a stiffer type of paper and then made the dome from the WoF templates. The rest of the templates might be too modern, I dunno, but the dome itself can be made with the paper and then fiberglassed rather easily.

Ok, I need some help.
What should I use to make my helmet?

Because it's a late era Crusader, it does look somewhat similar to the modern Mando helmet.

Should I use paper (what kind of paper) and which specific templates should I use?
Should I use a bike helmet as a base, then add paper templates onto it?

Other than having a T visor (which isn't even always the case) it's nothing like the Modern Era halmets at all. Every Mando had their own customized bucket.

As far as a base, use something simple like a hardhat or a bike helemt for the dome, use for sale signs to create the base for the rest of it and then start playing around with custom shapes etc to it. Just stay away from telltale signs of the modern era helmet.
