Oh yes, what Niabi said. They look awsome! At first I thought it was just a great weathering job... I wouldn't paint over'em...!!  :)

So I guess that is the trick to properly weather metal plates, paint them first, then hammer them to shape!

Wow i never thought i would get this much good vibes from my armor.
Actually they were cut from a door from a filing cabinet that i found in a dumpster then i cut out the plates and  started shaping them
the cabinet came from dumpster diving
guess i am not painting my kit

Cement floor is the hard surface and I use lighter strikes to planish the metal.

Find a local Harbor Freight Tools and buy the 1/2 football shaped auto body dolly.  They are like $15, sometimes you can get both it and the teardrop shape dolly on sale for less than $30.  Also while your there, pick up an auto body flattening hammer.  It'll have a big flat round face about the size of a 50 cent piece, and a small deep peen on the back.  Should have a red/black handle.  Those sell for I think $10 or less.

Use that auto body dolly in a vice with the flattening hammer to get all those dents out.  It will be a night and day difference you can use over and over again for minimal investment.

update: Left shoulder is cut out and right now I cannot decide between making them round like Fett armor, or create two folds to create the shoulders?

Mine have the two folds... I like the "square" look better... Personal choice...!  ;)
