So I'm constantly stalking the jet pack builds, and constantly drooling. I want one, but couldn't figure out how to construct one, until I was in my girlfriend's basement one night and saw a Bissel vacuum cleaner collecting dust in the corner. I asked if I could have it, and she approved.
So after a few hours work, I have completed taking it apart and lightening it by removing guts. I've done all the work to it that I can with a screwdriver. Here's what I have:
Like I said, it's a WIP, this thing is ugly. But I have ideas. Here it is.
I will also be removing this pertruding lip
And I might be cutting out this piece...
....and moving this piece....
.... to here.
By doing this, I will also be Taking out bulk, and giving it a shorter look.
My first question for y'all is do you think this is an exceptable base?
My second is should I stick with the thick cardboard thrusters, or get somethingelse? If i should keep them, what would be the best way to make those look like thrusters?
