WOF Jet Pack for my Kast Build

So I've decided to scratch-build a Jet Pack for my Jodo Kast project. I was in the process of attempting to re-vamp a Rubies JP, ad had made decent progress, but it's just not as crisp as I would like it to be.
  after trooping with Saint Nasty and seeing his Fett up close and personal, I just couldn't bring myself to troop anything that wasn't top notch quality.

so here's what Ive got so far: I"ve only had two days into it so far, and that's been spent cutting out the main parts of the body. I"ve still got to cut out the back portion, and I expect to be doing that tomorrow. it's slow and tedious work, but precision is Key.


and for referance, here's the Rubies I had been working on... I intend to finish it some day, but for now it's just going to sit on the back burner.

it's made from foam-core poster board. I'm going to be filling all the seams in with bondo after it's all put together.
