Hello mercs! this will be my flak vest thread once I start it but first i have a question, my vod has already started making his vest and it's almost done but he is using pleather, it's turning out okay but the material is a little hard to work with, is pleather a good choice or would something else work better?

Both of my vests are pleather. It is a more difficult material to work with than say, duck cloth, but the end result is worth it in my opinion.

Pleather is also a bit.... warm.
