A photo would make it far easier to tell if they will work fine or not. 

Chances are yes it should be fine, like you said you'd be removing the logo, but it would be easier to tell if we could see what they look like.

Check your local state, county and municipal laws first. Often times those types of gloves (yes even kevlar not neccessarily the bb filled one or hard plated ones) are classed as "sap" gloves and possession of them by anyone besides law enforcement proffesionals (assuming their agency even allows them) can be anything from a fine to a felony with a 2 year sentence in the state pen. Just becaus eyou can go into a store and buy them, doesn't mean they are legal to possess.

Good point, didn't even think of that. Not sure what the legality of that is in Canada here either...

EDIT: Did some research, also illegal to purchase or possess in Canada.

I agree with Falin.  WHile that law is most likely in the north eastern and western states, its always a good idea to play it safe. Plus, many conventions will see those as weapons.
