Cape Attachment Methods
« on: Mar 12, 2012, 08:49 PM »
As part of my full suit, I want to have a half cape over my right shoulder. I don't have it cut out or really designed full yet, but I have some great brown fabric that is going to be nice and flowey. I just have one question:
What is the preferred method of attaching said cape to my suit? Do you use snaps or velcro on the shoulder? Over or under the shoulder bells? What do you guys think?

I know that this isn't my cape but I used the same way of attachment. I have the opposite piece under my left shoulder. I found this in the Jewelry section of Joann's &/or Michael's. They come in a few other colors.

Thread the cape though the screw that holds the collar and backplate together on your shoulder studs.
