Greetings,

While an Early Crusader is my ultimate goal, I want to work on having an official rig for Phoenix Comiccon the first weekend in June and the EC will take longer than that.

So, I've decided that my first kit will be Modern Era, while I design the EC that I want.

Here is a poor photo of my color design. (My scanner died so I am using my phone.)



I plan on picking up a Behemoth lid from Tom Vader (making sure I fill in the required dents) and a full Medium set of K'raam Xrati's metal armor so the knees will be a little different than this design.  (They will be ordered before the end of the week as long as everything looks good on here.)

A flight suit is enroute, I've got boots/gloves and I'm making a Vest using a tutorial from TDH and adding a removable neckseal (for easier washing).

For weapons, I have a blaster and a blaster rifle enroute as well.  They will just need a little touch-up so they don't look off the shelf.

Tom Vader lids are good especially for those with bigger noggins.  K'raam Xrati's metal armor works just fine. Just remember, you may need to shape the back plate a bit more. I have seen a few folks get dinged for the backplate as is so just a word of warning. You sound like you have a good plan so good luck!
