I got mine in about a month ago, this thing is awesome! 
Considering slightly modding it by either covering or replacing the top flaps with leather ones just to change the look up a little bit so that it doesn't look like a "stock" Think Geek pack!

I has pouches! 

Threw together a couple Boba belt pouches using the WOF templates on TDH:

Nice thing is that the fabric was "pre-weathered" (I found a 600 thread count sheet in the basement that looked like it was used to drag wood around  )

I am also currently remaking my flak vest out of the same fabric, my first attempt was too short and the fabric had too much give (It's being modified to fit my stepdaughter who is Shriekhawk age in the Verd'ika Corps)
The new one is Jango length with the Boba shoulders (Kelan Ord style), I am currently adding the original fabric that I used on the first flak vest to the sides to allow for a bit of flex at the side attachment points.

Next up... Flak vest!

Detail of the side closure I had mentioned in the last post, the lighter material has some give which will allow for a bit of flexibility once I get the velcro sewn in...

I was trying to figure out how to make the Kama and came across LordNikon187's Stalker WIP and how he made his girth/loincloth, got me thinking... ...How about making a girth/kama...

...And so I took another old ruined, I mean... ...Er, "Pre-weathered" ... ...bedsheet and came up with this! 



I'm planning on putting a customizable pattern up in another WIP since I know alot of vode are looking for Kama patterns and figure it might help! 

So... Opinions Pleeze???

That kama looks good man. My personal opinion is that it would look better if you moved the two panels closer together at the back, to close the gap. Like Kelan I'm not a fan of the idea of adding a third panel. I think that would detract from it Keep up the good work!

I may do this... I would require that I relocate the belt & buckle out about an inch each and relocate the tabs that overlap in the middle to hide the holes from the rivets in the leather.

The girth belt is made the same way I made my neck seal it is actually 1 piece of fabric sewn into a tube then ironed flat at the bottom edge, sewn down at 1 1/2", overlapped 1/2", ironed, sewn 1 1/2" up from bottom of fold, repeat, repeat, repeat...
kinda looks like this from the side if you fold the flaps up:

So I revised the girth belt a bit last night to tighten the gap in the back up about 2" 
(I pulled all the rivets out of the leather parts and offset them out about an inch, then moved the tabs on the ends in about an inch  or so)

...And here is what I came up with:

I think I'm leaning more towards leaving the back panel out as Kelan and Segutai suggest for a few reasons...
1. It still feels like a tail 
2. When sitting it drags the back down 
3. What's the matter? You don't think i have a cute butt? 

Think I'll post a poll to see what the general consensus is
