I've been in touch with Bobamaker as well, I just like to explore my options before I make a purchase like this. I don't want to make my own armor because I know I can't get that compound curve in the chest plates and backplate.

Have you seen Bobafiend's build? I was looking at it, and all of his plates are sintra.

I have seen it. He recently upgraded to RKD armor though.

The best part about the RKD's are the collar/ backplate. That is very hard to do in sintra. My original plates are fairly comparable to what I have now, the RKD chest plates are not bent that dramatically.  The real difference is the nice soft bevel around the edge and the smooth curvatures.  The sintra I used was thin so it bent easily but was prone to warping.

That's actually not a long wait in my experience so far

Actually, I wouod say that is really good. Most vendors for my Jango stuff took closer to 4 months to deliver.

I assume it's for handcrafted leathers in high demand.  There are only so many quality vendors to fill the fanbase's orders

It definitely was related to several factors depending on who you are dealing with- time to create, getting in on runs with others, balancing making the stuff they sell vs. the stuff they are making for themselves, etc... Sometimes you just have to be patient for some of the good stuff. It never bothers me when they are honest up front (LSFU and Cruzer are fine examples), I just hate when people tell you one thing to get you to buy from them, then deliver on an entirely different time frame without keeping you updated and you have to bug them and the whole thing just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Nothing ultra exciting. I've mostly been waiting on packages.
I've just started a new job that I'm really enjoying, but 12 hour days are not uncommon. Unfortunately, that means that I either don't have time to work on anything and my personal projects and commissions get so backed up that working on them is sometimes more stressful than enjoyable.

But here's where my jetpack is right now. I'm hoping to paint the keys and the silver damage tomorrow when I have some down time.
