Era Armor Confusion
« on: May 30, 2013, 02:16 AM »
I've been toying with the idea of a Crusader, and have been appropriately looking around the forums, but one thing is puzzling me. The CRLs for Neo-Crusaders state that the "Helmet should have a hard face plate and a hard helmet, the helmet should be covered by a same color cowl extending to the neck with the face plate exposed. The cowl should be of a soft material that allows for felxation and head turning. Please try to either exactly duplicate, or heavily base your helmet design after those in the reference pics.", yet in the reference picture thread for the Neo Crusaders it has Mandos such as Demagol and the Super commandoes who don't have the aforementioned cowl. Should the CRLs for Late Era Crusaders be followed or...? And also, what era do the armors in The Old Republic count as, as to me they look heavily based off the Neo-crusaders? As I had toyed with using some of the body armor designs in that in my kit. If they are Neo-Crusader era, does that rule out the possibility of using a similar design for a Late-era Crusader?

Any information is greatly appreciated!
