Okay Folks..... Here it is... Try not to laugh too hard at the pictures....
I have decided to go with an Early Era kit. I had some initial ideas and drew up the following based on my initial read of the CRLs:
When you stop laughing (hey, not an artist here....), it was discussed that it was too medieval (and since its going to be rough pounded metal not bone, that's a risk).... I used a free program to come up with a better version..... but please read the notes to see what changes need to be made to picture (program limitations)...
Due to my lack of drawing skill and program issues, I am adding the following notes:
Helm - 2 hoses, both coming out of lower cheeks, go under horns, and back for shoulder to pack/rebreather
Crest with hair not shown, hair would be braided 1 to 2 to 3 etc and then fall behind, could also be horns, teeth, or spikes
Armor - All plates are rough-pounded metal finish (regardless of depiction), select plates may have horns, teeth, spikes, or blades attached
Flight Suit - Tan
Neck cloth - Tan or brown
Armor vest - Leather with 2 rows frontal plates, 1 row back (spinal) plates, straps on sides
Shoulders - Plate closest to neck, about 1/3rd larger to protect joint, attached by straps to armor vest. Lower plate has arm strap.
Lower arms - Leather vambrace with plates attached
Gloves - Leather with plates on back of hand and knuckles
Thighs - Plates, hinged with leather on outer leg, hang from straps on inside of large belt, strap on inner thigh
Greaves - Plates, hinged with leather on outer leg, 2 straps on inner leg, pad filled leather upper/lower front edge.
Knees - Simple cops behind greaves (knee pads worn under flight suit)
Boots - Brown leather pull on style
Loin Cloth - Waist sash with loin cloth, some shows above large belt. Loin cloth hangs behind belt. (Brown or maybe green)
Kama - Hangs from Large Belt. Either leather or heavy fabric (brown or green)
Belt - Has holster/hook, 2 pouches (handmade), and dagger. Possibly 2 strap from closure.
Backpack/Rebreather - Attached to back of vest. 2 decorative straps over shoulders/under arms. 2 hose connections to helmet. Investigating locating fan units in pack and making working hoses....

I have started construction on the spear last weekend.. photos will follow at some point...
My apologies for the length of the post (hope no comp crashes - fingers crossed). I have started the spear, rough drafted out the Ripper Rifle, and printed out the basic helmet (WOF) for meaurements and fittings.
I would appreciate any and all comments, critiques, and hints that everyone can share... Thanks!
