Hey there!
I'm starting to finally get my butt moving on my Mando build. So I thought I'd go ahead and make the thread so I can start posting some progress pictures and what not.
I'll start by showing the images I made in MandoMaker that I'm going off of.

Because I don't really have the time to learn how to use Sintra as much as I would like, I went ahead and ordered a set of armor from tk2280 at Mandal Motors.
Flight suit is from Lucas McCoy at Cosplay Outfitters. Vest is from K'raam Xrati. I have a helmet from Lonewolf1183 already and a visor from tvisors. I got a underbelt from FISD that I'm going to use for the Kama and cod armor. I've ordered some leather and materials from Tandy for the actual belt and I have surplus pouches already that I'm going to put on it.
Now to what I've been working on while I wait for all of this to come in. I've planned out a decently complicated system for the electronics. I have some awesome LCD displays that I want to use for the chest armor. I've spent the last two days prototyping those and trying to get the code up where I can start actually making it do what I want. I've uploaded a video of the test I did to show you.
That's just the test sequence. I'm going to work on back lighting it when I get it programmed how I'd like.
The rest of the electronics are still being planned out, but I have a basic idea of what I'm going to do. I'm going to have it all running off of a central board based off my belt. The MCU will be an ATtiny85. The power supply will 7.2 volt NiMH battery. That should have enough juice to last me a month of use.
I've ordered a few 10 segment LED displays that I'm going to use all over the suit. Once those get in I'll post an update on what they'll do and even some videos of he testing.
I've also got a really neat idea to use an RFduino so I can control every bit of my suit via bluetooth. That's on order and will be here around the same time as the armor. It will actually be the controller for most and the ATtiny85 will take over the rest.
I'll update this more as stuff comes in or I have something to show. If anyone has any questions on the materials I'm using or want links on how to get it, please let me know.
