Detail weathering? I dunno. They look pretty weathered to me. Looks great as is, but willing to see what you come up with!

The detail weathering is a bit of black wash to help blend in some of the splotchier areas...just to make the weathering look less deliberate and more natural. Then there will be the minor scratches. Those will be applied with a small paint brush and silver paint. Realistically if you've got that much damage to the paint there would be some little scratches and chips here and there.

So nothing major and probably nothing that will even be visible from more that 2ft away. But I think it's those smaller details that all add up to make it look a little better.  ;D
